Play Online with Friends – in Under a Minute

Want a game night but not everyone is at the same table? With Hexlands all you need is a browser and a link. No signup, no app, no download.

Three steps to a game

1. Create a game: Open hexlands.de/en, enter your name, choose player count and expansions, and click “Create game with friends”.
2. Share the link: Copy the invite link from the lobby and send it via WhatsApp, Discord, Signal or email – or have friends enter the four-character room code.
3. Start: Once everyone has joined, the host starts the game.

What you need

• A current browser – Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge.
• Laptop, PC, tablet or phone. Big screens are most comfortable, but touch and pinch-zoom work on mobile too.
• Optional: a voice channel (Discord, Zoom, Teams, phone). Trading is twice the fun when you can haggle.

Tips for a great game night

• New players? Start with a Quick Match against bots or check the tutorial on the home page. The rules take five minutes to read.
• Plan the time: a base game takes about 45–60 minutes, longer with expansions.
• Lost connection? Reopen the page within 10 minutes and you are put back into your game automatically.
• Rematch: after the game, “Play again” starts a new round with the same group.

Playing alone? That works too.

Nobody available? Quick Match starts a game against three computer opponents instantly.
